The Day Centre in Ikskile

An interior design project for the day center in Ikskile with the total area of 549.6 m2 has been developed based on the reconstruction project.
The day center offers a wide range of services. Since the building is small but the needs implemented in this center are multiple, then one room is frequently intended for several functions.
The main objective of the project is to create an open, accessible environment for different social groups in which is both easy to navigate and pleasant to stay – the environment that promotes mutual communication, enhances self confidence and joy of life.

Riga Imanta Secondary School 1 to grade 4 students wardrobe and wardrobe lobby interior design project

Qualification work was developed within the framework of Riga Imanta Secondary School 1st-4th grade students in wardrobe and wardrobe lobby interior design project. The project developed through a concise and correct forms. Space navigation was solved using stylized form of arrows on the floor, which indicates the direction of the cabinet group and location. Wall graphics motivating texts reflected the positive and bright colors. Furniture Wardrobe spaced straight lines, correctly, creating a sense of order and stability in the area.

The Visual part consists of the following: plan with furniture placement and room explication, plan with the placement of fixtures, plan with the building element involvement, plan with a solution for interior decoration. It consists also of a wall-wide twinings and 3D visualizations that reflect the appearance of a project developed.

The first chapter contains the information about the Craft Centres in Latvia, their goals of activities and functions, the ergonomics and Building standards, the ethnographic significance and the pattern diversity as well as the author researches the ethno motives actuality today. In the second chapter the author analyses the individual work: the summary of the present situation, the worked out conception of the project, the description of the functionality of the room application, the colours and lighting of the room, substantiate for the choice of the furniture arrangement.

Retro interior design in students dormitory lounge rooms in Rezekne University

The first part of the project summerizes the student dormitory placement principles, the main principles of ergonomics, studied retro style historical development and modern interior design trends, there was explored Marimekko brand and its textile design. The second part is the description of the project: existing situation, analogue research, conception, choise of finishing materials, interior color scheme, substantiation for the choise of lighting and furniture arrangement. There were used 3ds MAX, CorelDRAW, AutoCAD programs to create project visualizations and drawings.

Use of architectural photographies as solution for "Student house" interior design

The entire house has been made in a modern black and white color palette combined with the orange, also all the IKEA furniture matched with these shades. To expand the space was used large-scale architectural photographs, combined with graphics. Photos are the author's work, they show scenes of the building complex, where building is located, thereby linking the interior and exterior of the complex. The goal was to keep the historical significance of the building, which was very well made by combining the classical architectural monumentality with the graphics and the use of different angles.

Projected places are located in Rezekne, Latgale street 22/24, art salon - pub "Mõls" on the second floor. The interior design inspiration - Latgale country court. Combining rustic elements and modern performance, was created bright, simple and cozy catering place's interior, which will be added by an outstanding Latgale traditional dish.
Each place's interior reflects the part of the country court. In great hall can be seen the country court architectural elements, in the small hall - living room, but in the dressing room - the shed's establishment .
